Who teaches you?

According to what I read, most of you agreed on the importance of learning a foreign language but my questions are:
- do you learn more English (or whichever language you need) on the spot?
- are you given lessons in your Army courses or in the military Academies?
- can you travel abroad to study military language besides military practice?
- Who teaches you?How?

As you can see from my wild grammar, I learned English on the road.

I have found two original ways to learn Spanish going to any academy:
- the first, very common between Romanian ladies, is to watch South Americans soup-operas: in fact they speak as Colombians, not as Spanish.
- the second, used by my kid 2 years old, is to watch Pippicalzelunghe in Spanish from Youtube (the Italian chapters have been removed on demand of RAI: thank you!)

What about Arabian?or other Eastern languages?

It works for every south american country if you talk about "correct language" but... colloquial language or slang is not proper spanish

As right inside every country there're different words, jargon or slang, and different speaking "sounds" (cadences)...
But every Country speak espanol according the rules from the Real Academia de la lingua (all but Argentina that change the accents)
