A sentire l'ambasciata americana in Italia è possibile arruolarsi nell'esercito americano dopo aver prestato servizio in quello italiano, ovviamente se si ha la Green Card; gli europei devono far riferimento alla sede dell'esercito americano in Germania.

comunque è appurato che per servire l'USA da straniero devi avere la green card non credete a chi vi dice di no perchè solo per casi particolari e non si farà il vero e proprio soldato ma più intelligence o robe simili.
Ed è altresì appurato che ottenere la green card è mooolto difficile ti puoi scrivere ad una estrazione online che fanno ogni anno ma è come giocare al lotto,oppure un americano deve garantire per te cioè dire che in un determinato lavoro(quindi non il militare)sei l'unico che può svolgerlo in quel modo in tutta l'america!!
Oppure sposare un'Americana che sembrava la cosa più facile invece è la più difficile perchè ci sono uffici interi che lavorano per sgominare i matrimoni falsi per ottenere la green card,se vi prendono vi fate galera poi non potete più mettere piede in USA!!

So già tutto Leonardolupo, ho letto tutta quella discussione, che ora non riuscivo più a trovare, e molte altre e già telefonai all'ambasciata per aver conferma della Green Card.
In alternativa bisogna avere determinate competenze (mediche, lingue...) ma aver vissuto due anni in America, anche senza GC.

Quello che mi interessava sapere era se un soldato italiano poteva mettersi al servizio di quello americano.

Un soldato italiano giura sulla sua bandiera che è quella tricolore.
Se poi parliamo di "collaborare" allora è un altro discorso.

No, intendo un soldato che ha prestato servizio nell'Esercito Italiano e si è poi o è stato congedato.
Non so per la legge italiana, per la legge americana, con la Green Card, può poi servire gli Stati Uniti.

I'm in the U.S. Marines and I suggest you get into .. The tests are really really hard you have to be convinced to make a choice like mine .. I did 9 months in Iraq and now we are regarded as cannon fodder by the other armies. I'm Italian but I got the green card and then I did the exam for citizenship. I can say that the Italian army is very nice because it is not just terrorists but also to try to help people and I think that this is the most important thing. Regards.
